Congratulations! I am looking forward to working with you at this exciting time in your lives. Weddings are not a “business” at Circle of Life Ministry. I have an active outreach interspiritual ministry, dedicated to respect and harmony among all spiritual and life paths. Weddings are a joyous part of my total mission.

My job is to assure your total peace of mind concerning the ceremony itself, and to respect your budget with equal priority to my own time and expenses. I offer secular or spiritual ceremonies whether you are planning a wedding, vow renewal, or life partner commitment.

I have found that preparation time for all wedding ceremonies is virtually the same, regardless of the number of guests and attendants, and the location. I, therefore, have one fee which is all inclusive of everything needed to assure your perfect ceremony. A $50 deposit is payable at our initial meeting, and the balance is payable at the rehearsal or just before the ceremony. Your deposit is totally refundable up to 30 days before your wedding date.

My wedding fee is $250, and includes the following:

• Signed contract.
• Congratulations gift.
• Ceremony at the location of your choice.
• Rehearsal at no extra charge.
• Planning meeting and regular communication.
• Personalized ceremony content.
• Free travel up to 120 miles round trip for rehearsal and wedding.*
• Printed memento cards for guests to take home.
• Altar table, tablecloth, and use of my supplies if needed.
• 4-step preparation of ceremony:
  • Draft for couple’s approval.
  • Officiant’s rehearsal draft with notes and changes.
  • Final Version: Officiant’s ceremony copy.
  • Keepsake copy for couple.
• Simple budget-minded Unity Candle or Sand Ceremony jar if needed.
• Keepsake marriage certificate suitable for framing.
• Preparation and mailing of marriage license.

Fee Exception:

• When a simple and shortened ceremony for the couple and two witnesses only is desired, my fee is $150 at your location in the Greater Kansas City area. This ceremony will be much more meaningful  than a courthouse venue. You will also receive from me a marriage certificate suitable for framing, and a keepsake copy of your ceremony.

*My travel fee over 120 miles round trip is 35¢ per mile (not including the 120 free miles). My services over this distance may also require a hotel room for an overnight stay (up to $60, your expense), depending on the location, rehearsal, and time of day the ceremony is to take place. 

As a reminder, every couple must procure their marriage license according to the laws of your state and county prior to the ceremony. All arrangements for the wedding location and vendors are to be made by the wedding couple.
